My first experience in the health industry was working as a personal trainer and aerobics instructor. Studying the human body and learning about health very quickly became a part of my daily life. Brittney Martorano M.OMSc

Brit graduated from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in Fall of 2018. She has obtained an extensive amount of knowledge and resources from her background in human anatomy and physiology from an Honours of Science Kinesiology from McMaster University in combination with the knowledge built on with her studies from the CAO.

David Buikema M.OMSc 

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

As of April 2019, David Buikema has completed his education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy, earning his Master of Practice Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M. OMSc). Across the past 4.5 years, David has completed more than 4200 hours of supervised education, and 1000 hours of Supervised Practical Training in the student clinic.

Mike Serwatuk 

Manual Practitioner

Mike Serwatuk is in his final semester at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy earning his Master of Practice Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M. OMSc). Mike has been a Registered Kinesiologist since 2013, graduating from the University of Waterloo with a BSc. Honours Kinesiology. Mike completed a direct study in biomechanics and osteoarthritis while completing his undergraduate degree.

 

Stephanie VanDyk

Manual Practitioner

Stephanie Van Dyk is currently completing her education at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy earning her Master of Practice Diploma in Osteopathic Manual Sciences (M.OMSc). Following her undergraduate education at the University of Toronto, obtaining a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree (B.KIN), Stephanie continued on to pursue Osteopathy having been introduced to form of manual therapy while in her undergraduate studies.
